Esta semana lembrei-me de um filme que juntou novamente Richard Gere e Julia Roberts no ecrã. Sempre gostei destes actores e este filme é uma comedia romântica do melhor.

“Runaway Bride”, para além de ser um filme de uma noiva em fuga (que grande conclusão!), conta a história de como muitas vezes numa relação, queremos agradar a outra pessoa e esquecemos de nos mostrar tal como somos. Maior parte das vezes pomos de parte o nosso “eu” e fazemos de tudo para que o outro nos aceite. Talvez o medo da solidão ou o sofrimento passado nos leve a entrar por estes caminhos.

No fim, “Maggie”, a protagonista, descobre quem é, o que gosta e o que quer e parte para reconquistar o seu amor, aquele que lhe fez perceber que ela fugia do casamento porque não sabia nem o que queria, nem quem era.

Como todo o filme tem uma música que fica associada, este não é diferente (e valha-nos que não é Celine Dion LOL). Portanto, fica aqui para ouvir, a música da banda sonora de “Runaway Bride”, “Blue Eyes Blue” de Eric Clapton.
